The next in our monthly series of Zoom talks is: ‘Impact and Early Management of Vespa velutina’ with Dr Peter Kennedy, on Tuesday 18^th August at 7pm.

Dr Peter Kennedy is an Associate Researcher at the University of Exeter’s Penryn campus (Cornwall) and has studied the behaviour and ecology of beneficial insects for over 35 years.  His research has included how multiple stressors can interact to influence the dynamics of social insect colonies in heterogenous landscapes.  Over the past ten years, this has also included the impact of the invasive predatory hornet, Vespa velutina (Yellow-Legged Asian Hornet).
