• Title: Asian Hornet aka “Le Frelon Asiatique” – Beekeepers Guide – The Next Phase
• Brief description:

We are moving into a new phase in the war against the Asian Hornet. Climate change is exacerbating the situation across the Channel and we have no way of knowing whether the recent surge in Asian hornet nest numbers in north-west France and Belgium will drop back even if the weather returns to more normal patterns. We are seeing increasing numbers of incursions into the South-East where it is highly likely that the hornet now has a foothold from which to spread across the UK.

This talk discusses what we can learn from what has happened across the Channel, because the situation there is fast unravelling.
