Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping
Skill level: New to beekeeping
Join us for an introductory training course, comprising of eight winter evening theory sessions.
This course will provide you with a solid foundation in the basics of beekeeping, equipping you with the knowledge to care for your own colony.
The eight theory sessions will be held at Portchester Community Centre, Wednesday evenings 7.00 pm – 9.00pm, commencing Monday 19th January 2025 and consist of talk, slides and demonstrations covering Bees, equipment, diseases, swarms, hive management, and honey processing.
This course is offered at a cost of £80 per person, which includes your very own copy of the best-selling BBKA Guide to Beekeeping book
