Hello Members
As you are no doubt aware we are fighting hard to defeat the rapid increase in the numbers of the Asian Hornets being discovered in not only Hampshire but in areas as far north as Yorkshire. As beekeepers we will all be affected by the AH unless we do something to protect our hives.
As a port on the South coast we are right in the firing line of becoming affected so PDBKA has taken advantage of becoming involved in the offer for beekeepers to purchase high quality Asian Hornet traps. The details and extremely useful information is enclosed in the above attachments. We implore you to read them and if you wish to purchase a trap(s) to protect your apiary or where your hive(s) are housed please follow the given links.
The details are all in the attachments: the booking form, also please tick the Portsmouth Beekeeper box so the AH co-ordinators can keep up to date record of how/where Hampshire is becoming more protected. The closing date for this offer is December 16th.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
Wendy
